The
Physician Recruitment Program of the
Greater Peterborough
Area is fully prepared to provide family physicians and
their families with a personalized itinerary designed to
most effectively inform and encourage the family physician
and his/her family to locate in the "preferred
community of choice" -Peterborough.

A full and complete visit of the area including visits to
a variety of family practice opportunities, meetings with
doctors, other clinic representatives, and a tour of both the County and City areas and neighbourhoods will
be arranged.
The
program is prepared to provide accommodations and most
meals while on
visits of a limited nature. John MacDonald will personally
accompany visitors
throughout their visit and ensure that a tour of the area
takes place.

Medical
Specialists wishing to visit the area are requested to
contact the
Human Resources Department of the Peterborough Regional
Health Centre.
The PRHC takes the lead on visitation programs for
specialists and a similar
program of introduction to the community can be arranged
and customized
according to the needs of the visiting physician and
